Santa Ana, Calif. - FIRST LIEUTENANT RICHARD E. TOUET, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Touet, is currently assigned to the AAF Redistribution Station No. 4 at Santa Ana Army Air Base. Lt. Touet, a pilot aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress in the European Theater of Operations, entered the service May 23, 1942, and went overseas in July 1944. He has been awarded the European Theater Ribbon with one Battle Star, the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters and the Distinguished Unit Citation. He has completed 24 missions serving in England.
